BEAUTY ROUTINE HABIT

How long does it really take to form a habit? There is so much variance on the subject. Many blogs agree it takes 21 days to form a habit. One article in psychologytoday.com says it takes 66 days! In the end there is no really accurate measure as personalities vary so widely from person to person. But it's a good idea to make your beauty routine a habit, however long that takes. Set up reminders, post it notes on the bathroom mirror or an alarm on your phone. I have had a routine for so long, it's almost second nature. Those extra 5-10 minutes in the morning to put in my skin work have paid off.  Adding a serum to your routine is something to get in the habit of, if you don't already have this step. Depending on your particular skin concerns, there's a serum for that! More concentrated actives in serums, mean quicker results than using an oil or moisturizer alone. Apply a serum on freshly cleansed and toned skin. Allow it to sink in before moving on to the next step.
