Focus on Skincare

I've been focusing on skincare lately. As we continue to social distance, makeup can take a back seat. Working form home means you can spend a few extra minutes on that skincare routine. It also means your skin might be particularly dry because of all the time spent indoors with heating. Renew Facial Oil is rich in RoseHip oil, which serves as a great moisturizer, especially for dry skin. It will help with inflammation and has been shown to aid in soothing eczema.

"Rosehip oil has been shown to have anti-inflammatory and antioxidant benefits, which can be very useful tools in one’s anti-aging arsenal," says Dr. Nikhil Dhingra, a board-certified dermatologist at Spring Street Dermatology in NYC.

"The patients most likely to benefit from rosehip oil are those with eczema and dryness-induced itching, as it can help restore a broken skin barrier and combat the inflammation of cracked skin," says Dhingra.

Because rosehip is rich in everything from antioxidants, to vitamins, to fatty acids, it nourishes your skin’s protective barrier helping prevent further moisture loss. What's more, the fatty acids mirror the lipid content in the skin, which naturally help the skin better absorb the oil.
